Research On Tree-groundcover Landscape Design Method Of Xi'an City

Urban plant landscape can meet the spatial needs of urban residents for green space activities while highlighting regional landscape features,improving the quality of urban ecological environment and increasing biodiversity.As an open type of urban woodland landscape,the Tree-groundcover landscape not only provides a safe and comfortable treelined environment for people's leisure activities,but also regulates the urban microclimate,constructs water-saving green spaces,and provides rich biological habitats.In this paper,the landscape of grazing plants is taken as the object of research,and the methods of plant landscape space construction are proposed for the forest land structure,aiming at satisfying the functional requirements of the plant landscape from functions,aesthetics,and ecology;The study of the application status and characteristics of the Treegroundcover landscape in the city using the type induction method is the basis for the typical pattern of the Tree-groundcover plant combination.;Using the theory of habitatsite design to study the influence of the spatial structure of the arbor layer on the arrangement of plants in the groundcover layer,it can solve the following problems encountered in the application of practical engineering: the undergrowth of soil under the forest,degradation of the ground cover plants and the lack of diversity in the habitat inside the woodland.I refer to the theory of community ecology,landscape aesthetics and other related disciplines to study the theoretical framework of the Tree-groundcover landscape design which includes three aspects: plant space construction,plant combination and visual effect promotion.The research results are mainly reflected in the following aspects.1.Through the research of the application status of the Tree-groundcover landscape in Xi'an city and the study of the spatial distribution,aesthetics and ecological characteristics of the natural landscape archetypes,the types of the applied site,woodland function and woodland structure are divided.Based on this,the methods and design principles of the combination pattern of the arborvitae plants were proposed.2.The study summarized three patterns of ground cover: lawn,grassland and grass.Eight kinds of Tree-groundcover combination patterns were combined by combining the pattern of the ground cover layer with the typical woodland structure type: nodal ornamental type,linear planting type,evergreen-grassland structure type,deciduous forest-grassland structure type,deciduous woodland-grass structure type,pure type,mixed type and scarce-grassland structure type.3.Based on the case study of the Baima River Park and the Qinhuangdao Road Project,the application of the Tree-groundcover plant combination pattern for the park type and the road type was studied.Finally,a site-based design strategy is proposed and the technical process of the model application is summarized.
