With the rapid development of China’s economy,clean energy has been widely mentioned.Water resources are an important part of clean energy,and the wide construction of earth-rock dams is an important strategy for the rational utilization of water resources.With the continuous improvement of earth and stone dam construction technology,many 200 m dams have been built or are under construction,and even 300 m dams are being planned and investigated.With the increasing height of the dam,the stress in the earth-rock dam also increases,and the coarse granular soil materials are more likely to break up.As an important material for earth-rock dam filling,the problem of granule breaking is becoming more and more serious.Grain fragmentation will directly change the gradation of coarse grained soils and affect the deformation and safety of earth-rock dams.The results show that the stress path of the coarse grained soil of the dam is equal stress ratio loading path.The stress path of the dam body changes under the action of water load during the impoundment period.During the initial water storage of earth-rock dam,the reservoir water will infiltrate into the dam body with the increasing water level,resulting in the wetting deformation of the coarse grained soil of the dam.In the process of adjustment,coarse granule will produce crushing,energy loss and strength reduction.The unfavorable control of wetting deformation will lead to cracks in the dam body,which will damage the impermeability of the dam body and even lead to the collapse of the dam body.However,at present,the study of wet deformation is based on the conventional triaxial test stress path.By summarizing the previous research experience,the wet test of coarse grained soil under complex stress path is carried out in this paper.This paper studies the fragmentation of coarse granules produced by the humidification of coarse granule in the complex stress path.In this article,through dry samples of coarse grained soil stress ratio under the path particle breaking test and wet test,research the stress ratio of coarse dirt pile under the stone path of wet particles were broken and wetting deformation,stress ratio such as path is established under the coarse grained soil of wetting deformation and the introduction of particle breakage of wetting deformation formula of the established model considering the effects of dilatancy and stress path.Presented under stress than path such as measurement of coarse grained soil unsaturated sample volume strain test method,such as fixed stress than the path under unsaturated the rubber membrane penetration amount,such as improved stress ratio under the path of wetting and the calculation method of test stress level is analyzed under different stress path of particle breakage rule,compared the sample dry and wet samples under the same stress state of the particle breaking law,further revised consideration of wetting deformation formula of particle breakage.
