Pulse Doppler radar is one of the modern radars with new type radar system.And what has been known as its remarkable characteristic is the strong ability of clutter suppression.With the continuous development of modern radar technology,PD radar has been integrated with many new technologies,such as ultralow sidelobe antenna,side-lobe cancellation,side-lobe banking,matched filtering,coherent processing,frequency agility and so on,which greatly improve the anti-jamming capability of PD radar and significantly reduce the effect of blanket jamming and deception jamming.Therefore,it is imminent to research a new jamming method for PD radar.Track deception jamming is a new integrated deception jamming technique which can be deceptive to PD radar in three dimensions of distance,angle and velocity simultaneously.Track deception is a more advanced active deception jamming technique,which has a higher simulation fidelity than simple one-dimensional deception.Thus,it can be used as an effective jamming measure to PD radar.This paper focuses on the research of PD radar track deception jamming technology,and the theoretical analysis,simulation verification and jamming effectiveness evaluation are carried out respectively.In the part of theoretical analysis,the basic principle,key technology and the design method of auxiliary parameters are introduced in detail,and the mathematical expression of the total delay,detection sensitivity and minimum interference power required by the jammer to generate false target tracks is derived.Secondly,in order to improve the simulation fidelity of the false target track,this paper gives the corresponding technical measures from three aspects of distance-velocity correlation,amplitude modulation and the space-time correlation of any track.In addition,aiming at the anti-jamming measures of PD radar,this paper mainly discusses the influence of radar frequency agility and radar side-lobe blanking on the effect of track deception jamming,and gives the corresponding means of resistance interference.In the simulation verification part,based on the analysis of the track deception jamming technique and the characteristics of PD radar,the radar countermeasure system composed of PD radar system and track deception jamming system is modeled.The transmitting signal model,ECHO signal model,signal processing model of PD radar and the track deception false target generation model are established respectively.Among them,the track deception false target generation model is obtained by the combination of traditional forwarding deception jamming system and DRFM system.Finally,an airborne early warning radar parameter is used as the simulation parameter to simulate the track deception jamming.On the basis of summarizing various technical means proposed above,this paper puts forward the corresponding jamming effect evaluation indexes,establishes the jamming effect evaluation model,and gives the mathematical expression of the radar deception probability,and finally uses the evaluation model to do some simulation and calculation.The simulation and evaluation results show that the track deception jamming method presented in this paper can form a good deception jamming effect on PD radar.
