Air Separation equipment is the key equipment in space launch site.It supplies liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen,which used in assembly and test of launch vehicle and spacecraft,meanwhile for breathe of astronaut.The space launch site now has an Air Separation equipment,which went into operation in 1999,its control system was full manual control mode.The problem is as follows: Manual control mode lead to low control accuracy.Unable to monitor equipment parameters in real time,equipment status and product quality cannot be timely regulated.Interlocking control exist potential safety hazard.The number of operators is high,operator work beside the equipment.Therefore,equipment is labor-intensive operation with poor safety.Distributed control system(DCS)is a new kind of process control system,it is a computer based distributed control system,the system is composed of process control and process monitoring,with the computer system of multilevel communication network as the link,a combination of computer,communication,display and control,such as 4C technology,provides a window and friendly man-machine interface and powerful communication function.At present,DCS has been widely used in process control worldwide.In view of the existing problems of existing equipment,this paper adopts this technique in the transformation of air Separation equipment control system.The specific work of this paper is as follows:1.The basic principles of DCS are studied,including the function level,control system,technical characteristics and design procedure of DCS.2.The process flow and control requirements of air separation equipment were analyzed,including air compressor control,molecular sieve purification control,expansion machine control,etc.,and discussed the pre-control method of surge.3.Argument and put forward the design scheme of the control system of air separation equipment,completed the molecular sieve purification of sequence control,display circuit,PID control and interlock logic design,completed the system software,application software and communication software design.4.Complete system integration and installation and debugging,solve the problemsexisting in the original system,the system is stable,reliable operation,equipment handling and personnel security greatly improved,effective guarantee the smooth implementation of the shuttle mission.
