Space formation aircraft communication system needs to meet strong anti-interference ability,low power consumption,multi-user,high transmission rate performance.Traditional communication systems are difficult to meet performance requirements.while UWB technology has all the features needed for a formation aircraft communication system,which is ideal for satellite communications systems consisting of formation aircraft.The Waveform Division Multiple Access Ultra Wideband(WDMA-UWB)communication system uses a series of orthogonal UWB waveforms to distinguish different users' different information and significantly increased the communication rate and spectral efficiency of the pulsed ultra-wideband communication system for space formation flying.This paper mainly studies the multiple access interference suppression method of WDMA-UWB communication system and FPGA implementation of multi-user detection.This paper first research and establish the model of WDMA-UWB communication system,including analysis of emission model,channel model and receiving model.Then,from the transmitter part,we study how to suppress multiple access interference through waveform design.Combining Meyer wavelets with good relatively performance into orthogonal waveforms,then determining the best parameters by comprehensive consideration of multiuser performance and system availability.Got the best waveform combination for 10 users at last,initially achieved suppression of multiple access interference.Next,from the receiver section,a method is studied for further suppressing multiple access interference by multi-user detection.Firstly,we study and analyze the classic multiuser detection algorithm.Secondly,we put forward a multiuser detection algorithm based on Gaussian mixture model clustering,which using symbol reconstruction results with Gaussian distribution characteristics then achieving multi-user detection through Gaussian mixture model clustering.Simulation results show that multiuser detection algorithm based on Gaussian mixture model clustering has better BER performance,greater user capacity,and better ability to resist near-far effects commpared to classical multi-user detection algorithm.Finally,we implement a multiuser detection algorithm based on Gaussian mixture model clustering on FPGA.A joint debugging method based on serial port FPGA/Matlab is designed,and we set up an FPGA hardware implementation platform by comprehensive design of various modules to test the performance of FPGA-based multiuser detection algorithms.The results show that the multi-user detection algorithm based on FPGA guarantees the performance while the algorithm is less complex,has faster performance and real-time performance,and the system can be implemented more effectively.
