Due to high efficiency,simple controlling and low cost,high frequency line interactive UPS is becoming a popular industrial and researching topic.This article will analysis most of the components of its topology,including BOOST/BUCK loop,charging part,inverter and DC-DC part.The result of these analysis will be used to design a novel type of high frequency line interactive UPS.According to the feature and technology specification of the high frequency line interactive UPS,several inductors such as BOOST inductor,BUCK inductor and charging inductor are designed.The BUCK inductor and the inverter inductor,the BOOST inductor and DC-AC inductor are reused to reduce the UPS cost.This article will present the design and parameter of these inductors,build hardware models and simulate the models.Both line mode and battery mode have been simulated and the simuating waveform under different load situation will be analyzed.The dynamic output characters of UPS have been investigated.Aiming at the problem that the transferring time is too long,the voltage detection method under the line mode and the input voltage mutation is put forward,and the detection speed of the mains loss is accelerated.According to the dynamic characteristics of IEC62040-3,the topology of high-frequency line interactive UPS is improved to make it possible to supply power to the load more quickly when switching between line mode and battery mode to ensure the stability of load voltage,and to enhance the high-frequency line interactive UPS for high precision,high stability of the voltage requirements of the hypersensitive load adaptability.This paper designs a kind of lightning protection circuit which can withstand input high voltage of the UPS,which not only solves the problem of damage caused by UPS input high voltage,but also constantly protect the lighting hit at the same time.Due to the long distance between the output port of the UPS inverter and the output socket,the high frequency inverter power switch will emit strong electromagnetic radiation and interfere the conduct test of UPS.This article employs a double inductor inverter topology to solve the problem.Finallythe waveform of real swich driver and dynamic character testing results will be analyzed repectively under line mode,battery mode and charging mode.
