In recent years,with the rapid development of economy and industry,it has high demand on energy.The energy problem is one of the most important problems.How to use the energy effectively is a problem.Electricity is the main form of energy conversion,and the demand of electricity is higher and higher.With the expansion of the scale of power grid,the demand of power leads to the difficulty of operation and high costs.The problem of the power reliability and security is increasingly prominent.So the economic dispatch of power system face the new challenge.Power system economic dispatch is the active power optimization problem.The traditional centralized control to solve the problem of economic dispatch has some problems.First,the control center needs high communication construction in order to achieve the best working conditions,which will lead to a huge computational burden.Moreover,centralized control are more affected by communication failure and modeling error than distributed control.Secondly,plug and play technology can make the topology structure time-varying and the configuration of power grid and communication topology diverse.So the topology of smart grid is unknown.Distributed control is more suitable for solving these problems.Distributed algorithm can still run efficiently under the condition of limited communication or unreliable condition.Distributed algorithm also can keep the data of dispatch center private and overcome the difficulties of large-scale interconnected power grid data integration and the difficulty of maintenance.Compared with traditional centralized computing,distributed computing can accelerate the simulation analysis of power system and realize real-time or hyper-real-time simulation.The distributed consensus of economic dispatch is a multi-agent consensus problem.The article first focus on the prove of distributed quantized consensus.,then combined the basis of consensus algorithm with power system economic.The paper separately consider the impact of environmental,generator constrain,the network loss and plug and play.The feasibility of the method is validated by simulation.The paper enriches the theory and method of power system economic dispatch.This paper shows the broad prospect of distributed consensus algorithm in power system economic dispatch.
