The length of life of the contact electrical appliances is closely related to the electrical properties of the contact material.In this paper,a new simulation system for electrical properties of contact materials is developed.An experimental study is carried out to investigate the anti-welding ability,arc duration,erosion amount and other electrical properties of the contact materials.The relationship between the electrical properties of the different materials of the contact material and the relationship between the electrical properties are discussed and analyzed.The electrical properties of the contact materials and the relationship between different electrical properties are analyzed and expounded.This thesis designs and implements a simulation system of the electrical properties of the contact material which has the advantages of comprehensive function,high precision and convenient operation.The utility model adopts a four dimensional manual sliding table,which can conveniently realize the contact loading and unloading.Using a laser displacement sensor,force sensor,industrial CCD camera,data acquisition card and other equipment to succeed in displaying synchronously,measuring accurately and acquisiting data of dynamic and static contact displacement,contact force and the convex tip height of contact surface in the contact experiment.The electrical properties of AgMe--AgMeO(Me is a metal element)are studied by using the self-developed experimental system.It is found that there is some relationship between the polarity of the electrode and the resistance to fusion and the amount of erosion.Using the field emission scanning electron microscope(SEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),we found that the material transfer direction was biphasic and five kinds of typical morphologies.The electrical properties of Ag--AgMeO pairing and high Ag content silver alloy with Ag Me were studied experimentally.The relationship between electrode polarity and electrical properties is found.Summarizing that the "best effect","intermediate effect" and "worst effect" features of asymmetric matching contact's anti-dynamic welding capabilities,anti-erosion performances,and break arc duration are extensively exist among all kinds of contact materials and switchgear parameters.The relationship between the polarity of the electrode and its electrical properties are discussed.The experimental results can provide approaches for material selection of high performance switching devices,which fulfill the requirements of actual technological trends.
