The development of marine technology makes the ship become faster and bigger,greater demands are being placed on ship propeller design.Taking into account the performance of a single design is bound to not meet current design requirements,so when the propeller design,the wide range of performance needs to be considered simultaneously.The development of computer technology makes it possible to replace traditional potential flow method with CFD method which take viscosity in to consider to accurately predict the performance of propeller.Based on viscous CFD method,a number of design variables is taken into account in the paper,the use of optimization algorithms and related technology,research optimization method for multi-objective design of the propeller and wing section.The main work of this paper can be summarized as the following aspects:1)By analyzing the shape of hydrofoil and summarizing the common characteristics,a set of methods of parameterized representation of hydrofoil are proposed based on the characteristic parameter description method,and by using the software FriendShip to program Feature,the author realized the parameterized representation of hydrofoil and propeller.2)CFD method is used in hydrofoil and propeller to simulate and verify the accuracy of numerical prediction,respectively,then a CFD calculation method applicable to the optimization of hydrofoil and propeller is summarized,and put forward the multi-objective optimization indicators of hydrofoil and propeller.3)An overview of the design process and basic principle of the optimization algorithm and approximate method used in this paper.4)Build CAD / CFD optimization platform,with the NACA0012 hydrofoil for object,considering a number of characteristic parameters,and realize the multi-objective optimization of hydrofoil in lift performance and anti-cavitation performance.Furthermore,the sensitivity in characteristic parameters were analyzed based on variance to obtain the sensitivity of propeller performance in characteristic parameters.5)With the DTMB4119 propeller for object,considering the main parameters,the author realize the single objective optimization of the DTMB4119 propeller.Use the result of the sensitivity analysis on characteristic parameters in hydrofoil,and take the main parameters of propeller and parts of the parameters of hydrofoil into consideration,and use approximation techniques and optimization algorithms to realize the multi-objective optimization of the DTMB4119 propeller.
