| Power transformer is an important equipment in the field of electric power system,which is responsible for the change of AC voltage and energy transfer in power system.Using high temperature superconducting technology to develop and improve the traditional power transformer,so that it can better serve the power system,has a great theoretical significance and practical application value.In this paper,the research is a high temperature superconducting transformer with hollow structure,the transformer has basic functions of traditional power transformer,but also has the perceptual function of reactive power compensation,it has great application prospects in EHV power system.The electromagnetic characteristics and system operating characteristics of the transformer are studied in this paper,in order to provide some suggestions and help for the actual application of the power transformer.The work consists of three parts:(1)describes the air core power transformer input and output characteristics and energy transfer theory;analysis of air core transformer reactive power compensation and give the feasible formula derivation;combined with the application environment of high temperature air core superconducting power transformer,to provide the research object.(2)using the finite element simulation software Maxwell and Simplorer to establish the simulation model of the superconducting air core power transformer,and verify the correctness of the design of the transformer.The magnetic field distribution,magnetic field size and other electromagnetic characteristics of the transformer are studied,the corresponding power and critical current are analyzed,and the engineering application is given.In addition,the influence of current and magnetic field component on the transformer is also analyzed.(3)in the power system,using Simulink to build the simulation model of EHV power system,combined with the theory of reactive power compensation in power system,the operation characteristics of the air core superconducting power transformer in the power system is studied.Main contents include: transformer under variable load and variable angle,the capacity of reactive power compensation of reactive power balance,the influence of line voltage,the power factor of generator;the difference of the reactive power compensation capacity between traditional reactor and the air core transformer;according to the characteristics of the transformer,make a further reactive power compensation on the transformer to control the output of reactive power,study on the operation characteristics again.In a word,the transformer has theoretical basis,and electromagnetic characteristics is different from iron core transformer,but also has engineering and technical feasibility and due to the function of reactive power compensation,even taking the additional compensation device into account,the characteristics of its operation in EHV power system is superior to traditional power transformer.It is an ideal substitute of traditional power transformer. |
