The promotion of electric vehicles has attracted attention because of the problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious in the world.The shortage in power battery technology is the most important reason that restricting the development and promotion of electric vehicles,such as the lifetime of battery is unsustainable,high power electric starting difficulty,waste battery pollution and so on.The super capacitor has the advantages of long service life,high power density and no heavy metal pollution and the advantages make it become a promising research direction in the field of electric vehicle energy storage.This paper chooses the working characteristic and simulation model of super capacitor as the research object.The main contents are as follows:Analysis and overview of the domestic and foreign research status of the super capacitor,and then describes the working characteristics and the energy storage principle of the super capacitor,combined with the reference to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the existing model,and proposes a new model of super capacitor.This paper chooses two parallel BMOD0165-P048(48V/165F)super capacitors as the research object,obtain the measurement data under various experimental environment,and using L-M algorithm identify the parameters of the super capacitor simulation model based on the measurement data.Establishing the equivalent circuit simulation model of the linear three branch and the model of the nonlinear three branch of the super capacitor.The experiment of constant current condition,the experiment of ECE condition and the experiment of UDDS condition are carried out to obtain the measurement data of the working of the super capacitor.And then comparing the measured voltage data of the test bench and the output voltage data of the simulation model under the same conditions.error analysis.The error of the simulation model and the actual model of the super capacitor is analyzed.And eventually concluded the nonlinear three branch super capacitor model is more approximate the real super capacitor.
