With the development of economy,the number of motor vehicles is increasing quickly and the energy and environmental problems are becoming more and more outstanding.As a new energy vehicle,electric vehicle has become one of the effective devices to solve the above problem.The electric vehicle's charger is the core charging equipment of an EV,which directly relates to the source of energy.That research and design a good electric vehicle's charger not only can improve the service life of battery pack,but also has important practical significance for the promotion and popularization of electric vehicles.As the power electronic device,electric vehicle charger is becoming smaller,lighter,and more digital,and EV's directly finking to electric network puts forward more strict requirements on power factor,input current harmonics,efficiency,and output voltage ripple.Therefore,it is quite important to choose an appropriate topology.First of all,On the basis of analyzing several existing topologies and their control modes,the dissertation finally designed a 4KW electric vehicle charger and the design scheme of a two-stage's structure is proposed.An Boost APFC Converter is employed in the first stage,in order to develop power factor(PF)and reduce total harmonic distortion(THD).In the second stage,a phase-shift full-bridge ZVS converter is adopted for galvanic isolation and DC/DC conversion,in order to satisfy the requirement of the efficiency and output voltage ripple.Secondly,the dissertation analyzes principles of the first-stage Boost APFC and the second-stage a phase-shift full-bridge ZVS converter,puts forward designing methods of the circuits' parameters,selects proper elements,and designs the controllers of first and second stages.Then,simulation software is used to simulate the converters and controllers to verify the correctness of the theory.Finally,an experimental prototype is made and experimental result is gotten.Finally,the simulation and analysis of experimental results shows that adopting this scheme design of the car charger is feasible in theory and practice.The converter can good working in all work conditions and meet performance requirements of the power factor,input current harmonics,working efficiency and the output voltage ripple.
