With the development and utilization of marine resources deeply,the operation area of Marine engineering is increasingly reaching into the deep sea.The breakwater is a common coastal engineering building whose main function is to reduce the invasion of waves and keep the water stable and easy to berth and operate safely.The traditional breakwater is a seated structure,so that it can not adapt to the deep sea water.The floating breakwater is low cost,easy to move,and has little influence on the marine environment,so floating breakwater has attracted more and more attention of scholars.Floating breakwater is usually made up of floating body and mooring system,during the long period of service,it have to withstand severe wave load.And so far,most scholars have focused on the study of wave elimination performance of the floating body,the research for structure strength and connection between two module is less.Therefore,this paper studies the strength of the floating body and the connection between the modules.(1)Calculation of single module strength of floating breakwater and checking of the strength of key parts.The dangerous wave condition of the breakwater module is calculated based on the long-term prediction design wave method.Using direct calculation method,the structural strength calculation of the breakwater single module is carried out to find the key parts of the structural stress response.The structure is improved and strengthened,finally,the stress of the breakwater structure is reduced to a safe level.(2)Study on the properties of the connection structure material.The module connector is semi flexible connector consist of the hoop structure and rubber ring.Scale ratio model is maded based on the similarity theory,and than carried out tensile test.Study the tensile properties of the rubber ring combined with the numerical simulation.(3)Load calculation of connection structure and strength check of key parts.According to the environmental conditions of the target area,a taut mooring system is designed.The connection structure is defined as a mooring line during hydrodynamic analysis.Check the tension of mooring cable,Study the mechanism and rules of the connector load.Complete the detailed design of the connector structure,the structural strength of the connection structure is checked on the basis of the calculated maximum load.
