The Magnetic Coupled Wireless Power Transfer(M-WPT)technology is an emerging technology based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. It is widely studied due to its features of safety, convenience, aesthetics and reliability. In recent years, wireless power transmission has gradually demonstrated its advantages in high-power applications with the development of power electronics. However, due to the limitations of power devices, such as withstand voltage, withstand current, cost, and the requirements of system offset and safety, the traditional single-transmitter to single-receiver(i.e.one-to-one)WPT system is difficult to meet the demand for high-power applications. Thus, multiple pickups concentrated power supply WPT system for a single load was born. The multiple pickups WPT system has many advantages and has a good practical value in applications. For example, the use of multiple pickups coils could optimize the design of the coupling mechanism, effectively reduce voltage and current on the coil and compensation capacitors, reduce cost and design difficulties. For another example, the use of multiple pickups coils can effectively improve the anti-offset ability of the system and help to improve the system's stability in practical applications. In addition, the combined connection method of multiple electric energy institutions is also a key way to constitute high-power energy transmission.Due to the large number of pickups on the secondary side of the system, the connection of the pickups circuit, the power allocation of the pickups, and the coupling effect between the pickups coils have become the key issues in the study. However,in the existing literature, the research on multiple pickups WPT systems focuses on the elimination of cross-coupling effects, and does not consider the power allocation problem of the pickups and the influences of the secondary side circuit structure on the system. This paper mainly studies the output control strategy of multiple pickups WPT systems, and focuses on solving the problems of the multiple pickups WPT systems in terms of circuit connection, power allocation, and parameter design.Aiming at the requirements of simple control system and the safety and reliability of system structure in high-power practical engineering applications, this paper selects suitable compensation methods for coupling mechanism and circuit connection methods for high-power applications. Then,a parameter system is designed based on the system output power requirements, load size and devices capacity. Finally an output control strategy is designed based on the differences of the pickups' mutual inductance.By coordinating the power of each pickup, the system efficiency is optimized under the premise of meeting the system output power. Finally,on the basis of theoretical analysis, this paper establishes a system simulation model and experimental platform. Both the simulation and the experimental results prove the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
