V2X communication is an important part of information interaction in the cooperative vehicle-infrastructure system.Its communication performance directly affects the application effect of cooperative vehicle-infrastructure.In the current research on the cooperative vehicle-infrastructure method,most of the V2 X communication is considered as an ideal situation without error and delay,and it is difficult to grasp the specific influence of the communication performance on the cooperative vehicle-infrastructure system.The hardware-in-loop simulation experiment of V2 X communication equipment is more close to the actual traffic environment than the full simulation experiment.It has higher safety and repeatability than the real vehicle experiment.Therefore,through the hardware-in-loop simulation experiment of V2 X communication equipment,it is of great practical significance to study the influence of communication performance on cooperative vehicle-infrastructure?Based on the above issues,the paper builds a hardware-in-the-loop experimental platform for V2 X communication devices,and uses Zigbee and 4G communication devices for information exchange in the experimental platform.Combined with the typical application of cooperative vehicle-infrastructure,the V2 X communication equipment hardware-in-loop experiments of cooperative vehice-following and the V2 X communication equipment hardware-in-loop experiments of speed guidance were carried out.Under two typical cooperative vehicle-infrastructure scenarios,the effects of communication performance on cooperative vehicle-infrastructure are studied.The main research content includes:(1)Performance test and influencing factors analysis of V2 X Communication module.Design test scenarios and schemes.Based on Zigbee and 4G networking configurations,tested the performance of Zigbee and 4G communication modules respectively.The test includes communication distance,the success rate of packet transmission,and average communication delay.The test results show the influence of distance and vehicle speed on Zigbee and 4G communication performance.(2)Impact analysis of hardware-in-loop V2 X communication on cooperative vehice-following.Based on the experimental platform of the V2 X communication device hardware-in-loop,under the typical cooperative vehice-following scenario of cooperative vehice-vehice,the hardware-in-loop simulation experiment with communication delay and the complete simulation experiment without communication delay were carried out.The comparison between the two experimental results shows that the specific influence of communication delay on the cooperative vehice-following.(3)Influence analysis of hardware-in-loop V2 X communication on vehicle speed guidance.Based on the experimental platform of the V2 X communication device hardware-in-loop,under typical vehicle speed guidance scenario of cooperative vehice-infrastruture,the hardware-in-loop simulation experiment with communication delay and the complete simulation experiment without communication delay were carried out.The comparison between the two experimental results shows that the specific influence of communication delay on vehicle speed guidance.In summary,on the hardware-in-loop platform of the V2 X communication equipment,under the cooperative vehice-infrastruture and vehicle speed guidance scenarios,the V2 X communication equipment hardware-in-the-loop simulation experiment and complete simulation experiment were carried out respectively.The test analyzes the specific impact of the communication delay on the vehicle-following and vehicle speed guidance,which will provide some support for the research and development of cooperative vehicle-infrastructure system.
