Although It's so difficult to use the prefabricated construction method which based on BIM Technology in the electromechanical installation industry because of various types of components and fittings and equipment models,there were few Chinese companies trying to use the method to construct only in the local area such as the refrigerator room,there were no related theory research results about it at present.In order to promote its constructing and perfecting,and coming into being supporting management methods,its applications in the Dunhuang international conference center project were analyzed and generalized.The major research fruits achieved in this paper were described as follows:(1)The implementing procedure was presented according to the analysis of the application of the modular construction in the electromechanical installation industry.(2)The supporting construction management rules of this method were set up,such as management flows about the technology,technical changing,examination of working drawing,design of construction organization and special plan.The main working methods of technology management in each link were generalized,which were helpful to provide basic data to the management framework of the method.(3)The modular construction method in the electromechanical installation industry relied on the BIM model established,which simulated the construction through a series of BIM plug-ins.The original code of the supporter and hanger arrangement plug-in ofthe China construction industrial &energy engineering CO.LTD were introduced.(4)The implementation steps and process control points of the BIM+ modular method for electromechanical installation were presented,including conforming BIM model,modular management,supporter and hanger arrangement,modular prefabrication,the transport and storage of the modular,modular packaging.(5)The application effect in the quality management,cost management and construction period management of this project which using the BIM+ modular method for electromechanical installation were analyzed,the main attentions,some factors restricting the application,development direction of this method were generalized.(6)The application and innovation results of this method in the project were presented.They were 3 key points,the first was the closed loop management mode of the modular construction which was good for the dynamic update of the assembly construction scheme;the second was developing the BIM plug-ins,coming into being the internal discussion mechanism about technology exchange,the third was the application innovation of all kinds of equipment which can provide necessary hardware support for further popularizing of this method.
