With the fast development of urban transportation,it seems extraordinarily important to make full use of soil resource.Subway as the most environmentally friendly and convenient subset of urban transportation has been developed rapidly.Neverthless,the effect of the subway-induced vibration on structures built above and those living nearby cannot be neglected.Thus,it is vital to study how to reduce or isolate the subway-induced vibration on the structures built above subway tunnels.(1)A field measurement would be conducted on the BoXue Building in the South China University of Technology to study the vibration transmission pattern in that building;(2)Using fnite element software-MIDAS GTS NX,a 3D finite element model should be put forward to correctly simulate the dynamic response of this building;(3)The vibration reduction effect of parameteric study of the basement as well as pile foundation on the structure built above would be studied.Based on that,the most effective vibration reduction method under different situation should be proposed;(4)The effect of isolation layer,sand pad and belleville spring would be studied.Furthermore,the arrangement of belleville spring would be optimized.Based on these,the most effective base isolation method under different situation should be proposed.
