With the rapid growth of the economy,the demand for electricity has increased.The problem of the stability and limitations of the long-distance transmission is becoming increasingly prominent.Therefore,the HVDC transmission technology has become an important topic in the current research field.Gaoling Back-to-Back Converter Station is located in Suizhong County of Huludao City,Liaoning Province,covers an area of about 340 acres,is the world's back-to-back converter capacity of the largest,is the Northeast / non national key project in North China Power Grid synchronization network,there are 9 AC,2 high loop connected to the Northeast Power Grid Substation Shahe camp,Sui high 4 lines connected to the Northeast Power Grid in Suizhong power plant,the high 3 day loop connected to North China Power Grid Substation pegasus.There are 4 DC converter units in the kaolin converter station,the rated power is 750 MW,and the four unit operation mode is coordinated / independent.According to the operation condition since Gaoling Converter Substation put into operation in 2008 and the special accident case,a thorough analysis of the problems of internal and external faults and design problems,report literature data,provide certain reference experience for the day,after back-to-back converter station construction project,for the future of the safe and stable operation of converter station to accumulate more experience,as a small pure domestic contribution DC control technology in their power.
