Power electronic switch and PWM technology using traction converter system in train,bring the harm of harmonics and other issues,not only affect the rail vehicle's operation quality,but also affect the life of traction transformer and the traction motor use.In this paper,based on the power quality of traction converter system,provides the basis for the fault diagnosis of the traction system.According to the "performance of 350 kilometers per hour EMU Chinese standard interim technical conditions" of traction converter system requirements,a set of vehicle power quality monitoring device of traction converter system be built.In this paper,the electric power monitoring device is composed of data acquisition system and data analysis system.Based on this,this paper explored the method of data collection and data analysis methods,combined with the technical indicators and data analysis system for data acquisition system.An appropriate data acquisition card and sensor are selected to form the device.The harmonic characteristics of traction converter,theoretical analysis and extensive research at home and abroad many harmonics,harmonic analysis algorithm to determine the current application of the most mature namely fast Fourier transform as the harmonic analysis algorithm.Using the idea of virtual instruments to complete the software part of the device,the device can measure the harmonic components,but also can measure the power factor and unbalance of power quality parameters,the comprehensive evaluation of operation quality of traction converter,provide an effective basis for fault diagnosis.In order to verify the rationality of the power quality monitoring device,the power quality monitoring device is tested on the small power traction converter test platform.
