Application System Development For Pulse-based Health Device Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

There are four diagnostic methods in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM):inspection,listening and smelling,inquiry,and palpation.Palpation also called pulse diagnosis,which is the essence of TCM.Pulse diagnosis of TCM can reflect subtle changes in the function of the human body,and it can achieve the prediction of the disease.However,most Chinese medicine management systems are for the management of pharmaceutical formulations and ignore the important of pulse management.At the same time,the dietetic therapy has a good effect in preventing diseases and curing diseases.This article uses a pulse acquisition device with ATMEL ATmegal328P as its core.Combined with database technology,a pulse management has been designed,which implements functions such as pulse display,data saving and pulse management.The database of dietetic therapy can be used by local application and through JSP technology for LAN use for widely spread.This system also extracted the time domain features for pulse signal.In order to facilitate the daily collection of pulse signals,this article has combined the pulse signal instrument to develop the pulse daily management application of the Android mobile terminal.The system running results show that the PC-side and Android-side application system can meet the initial design requirements,and run smoothly.The system also can pass the established test plan.The application system is easy to operate.It can provide objective analysis of pulse signals for researchers and doctors.The establishment of dietetic therapy database will bring convenience to people daily health care.
