The problem of icing and snowfall on road is a major threat to road traffic safety,which is the main cause of traffic accidents in winter.To help alleviate the adverse effects caused by road ice and snow,a large number of scholars in China and abroad have conducted analysis and research about icing and snowfall on traffic road.At present,most researches on road deicing and snow are focused on single physical deicing or chemical deicing,and there are few deicing methods that combine physical and chemical methods.Based on the principle of self-stress deicing and snow removal,a new low freezing point elastic coating combined with polyurethane elastomer and low freezing point filler,which have the ability of chemical inhibition of icing and snow-covered.It has significant research and application value.Firstly,the corresponding main raw materials needed for the study were selected by analyzing the physicochemical indexes of materials in the low-freezing point elastic coat.The admixture ratio range of polyurethane elastomers,viscosity enhancers,and low freezing point fillers are obtained by the pull-out test and the compatibility between systems.Secondly,a numerical analysis was conducted using ABAQUS software to obtain the influence of size on deicing and snow removal and the limited ice-removing capability of the low-freezing point elastic coating was obtained of the low freezing point elastic coating.The self-developed equipment for rapid evaluation of anti-icing capacity experiment was conducted for the deicing capacity of low-freezing point elastic coatings and the effect of the amount of each material in the low-freezing point elastic coating system on the deicing effect as well as the design of low ice point elastic coating was evaluated.Thirdly,a routine was followed when low freezing point elastic coating specimens was prepared.Release rate per day and cumulative release rate were selected as indexes to obtain the releasing characteristics of effective components of low ice point elastic coating.Then the releasing characteristics of the time were summarized and analyzed.Experimental temperature,viscosity enhancer content,low freezing point filler content and polyurethane composition were selected as influencing factors to analyze the effects of these factors on the releasing characteristics.Orthogonal experiment method was carried out to determine the degree of influence of each factor on the release of each active ingredients.The limitation of effective time for low freezing point elastic coating was then obtained after analyzing the relationship between the interfacial adhesion of ice-coating interface and test times and combining the release law of the effective components.Finally,the skid resistance and wear resistance of the low-freezing point elastic coating were experimentally analyzed.The result showed its road performance was good.Through the field test,proved that the actual snow and viscosity reduction had obvious effect.
