Research On The Control Of Space Style In The Overall Urban Design Of Small Cities

The natural environment and geographical characteristics are obviously different from south to north,from east to west,rich in type for China’s vast territory,with rich history-culture and varied folk customs.Before the reform and opening up,the spatial form and style of the small cities in China showed obvious regional differences,and the recognition of small cities was also higher.After the reform and opening up,China’s rapid economic development,urbanization process gets speeded up,followed by urban construction space disorder and style damaged.In this process,urban construction kepts attention to the scale of quality,the quality,kepts attention to the speed,underestimates the quality......small cities are facing more and more problems in the space style such as north and south convergence,the loss of geographical characteristics and so on.With the highlight of the problem,the government and scholars began to try different means to protect the spatial style of small cities.And the special planning of the style and the urban design have become the main means.There are many researchs and preparation practice in the level of the overall urban design with the space style of large and medium-sized cities,but many small cities in the overall urban design is often maked in accordance with the practice of large and medium cities for the lack of the perfect standards and systems with the overall urban design.Oon the one hand this method of preparation is not based on the characteristics of small cities,on the other hand,the contents of the control of small cities tend to be missing or difficult to implement,making a lot of small cities having been designed hardly to be implemented,difficult to play a guiding role and effectively controdction of the space of small cities.This,taking the small city as the research object,takeing the overall urban design as the working platform,discusses how to control the spatial style and the characteristics of the small city in the overall urban design.In the paper,firstly,the research and review of the overall urban design and spatial style control of small cities both at home and abroad are studied and summarized.The concept and connotation of small cities,the overall urban design,the spatial style control and the overall urban design of small cities are analyzed,This paper focuses on the characteristics of small cities and the characteristics of the overall urban design of the small city,the relationship between the overall urban design and the Urban Planning System,and the concept and connotation of the spatial style control.Secondly,the problems and causes of the overall urban design of small cities are discussed from the perspective of spatial and style,Finally,the author puts forward the framework and strategy of the spatial control of the overall urban design space of the small cities.At the same time,it discusses the expression and implementation of the protection of the results,and takes the author’s participation in Changyang County town overall urban design as an example to conduct empirical research.
