As a distributed energy resources(DER)system,combined cooling heating and power(CCHP)system can achieve cascade utilization of thermal energy for different grades and has the advantage of energy saving and environmental protection as well as reliable power supply,which improving the energy supply structure.It has been widly used in the world and becoming a main derection of DER's development in China.In this paper,a CCHP system is designed for a complex,and the simulation of the operational characteristics of the system is carried out.Firstly,according to the complex's energy needs,confirming determining power by heating load as the CCHP system design principles,and then select the prime mover and waste heat utilization devices based on building's cooling,heating and power load.Furthermore,the thermodynamic modles was established for main devices of CCHP system including gas turbine,waste heat recovery boiler and absorption refrigerator,and the next is using TRNSYS to build a simulation platform for the system and simulate the annual operating conditions as well as typical days,which can analyze system energy using characteristics.The CCHP system is also compared with a separation production(SP)system for the complex,giving an analys for the CCHP system from three aspects,which are primary energy saving rate,annual cost saving rate and carbon dioxide emission reduction rate.Results show that CCHP system can supply enough cooling and heating capacity in differrent conditions to meet design requierments,and the system waste heat utilization is sufficient.What's more,the annual average energy utilization rate and thermoelectric ratio of CCHP system were 0.73 and 1.66 respectively,meeting relevant criterions.In addition,compared with the conventional separation production system,the CCHP system can achieve energy-saving targets,the annual cost savings rate is 5% and carbon dioxide emission reduction rate is 12.8%,which has a good economic and environmental benefits.
