The shape-stabilized phase change material(SSPCM)has been widely concerned and used in building envelope because of the characteristics of storing more energy in a small temperature range and maintaining the solid state in the process of phase change,to reduce the energy consumption and improve indoor thermal comfort of buildings.This paper studies the double-layer PCM wall,which have two PCM layers with different phase change temperature.Previous studies have shown that single-layer phase change material wall could only work in winter or summer,it can’t work in the year to improve indoor thermal comfort and reduce the building operation consumption.The double-layer phase change material wall has both high temperature phase change layer and low temperature phase change layer,which can work both in summer and winter.Compared with single-layer phase-change wall,the total building operating energy consumption will be reduced to a greater amount and improve the indoor thermal environment significantly.In this study,four different structure of the double-layer phase change material wall are simulated using TRNSYS how different structures and different phase change temperature of the phase change material influence the load and building operating energy consumption in office building of Wuhan,and find out which is the best structure of the PCM wall.In addition,by comparing the indoor temperature of the room including double-layer phase change material wall,the effect of different structure on the double-layer phase change material wall about indoor thermal comfort is analyzed.In this paper,the energy saving potential and thermal comfort of different structures are analyzed,helping the design of phase-change material wall and the practical application.
