In recent years, with the improvement of our country's economy and people's living standards, the use of air conditioning system in large public buildings are becoming more and more common. In the background of the government policies to promote energy conservation, carbon reduction and environmental protection, the study of optimization design of the ground source heat pump(GSHP)which is a new type of energy-saving technology,is becoming more and more important.GSHP system is quitely different from conventional Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning(HVAC)system in its ground heat exchanger(GHE).Reasonable inlet and outlet temperature of the circulating fluid in GHE is significant, since GHE is one of the most important parts of the GSHP system. The building load of an office building in Wuhan,China was simulated using software DEST,and the all-year hourly load of this building was obtained. The suitable GSHP system was selected for the cooling and heating source of the building. The commercial software TRNSYS was used to simulate the system. On the basis of the model, this paper mainly analyzed the energy efficiency of a hybrid ground source heat pump system from three dimensions which are the start-stop control of cooling tower, buried pipe with single/double U and inlet and outlet temperature of the circulating fluid in GHE.And based on different inlet and outlet temperature of the circulating fluid in GHE,the length of GHE and the heat pump COP/EER were analyzed. The initial investment and running cost of the GSHP system under different simulation conditions were calculated, and the result was analyzed by the dynamic economic analysis mathematical model. In this paper,an optimal inlet and outlet temperature of the circulating fluid in GHE was investigated. It is concluded that there is an optimal inlet and outlet temperature range in Wuhan's winter and summer. The conclusion may supply a certain reference for the design in actual engineering.
