Though Induction motor is widely used in the world,interturn short circuit become a threat to the security and stability of the system.In this paper,the following research work are carried out:(1)In this paper,the method of diagnosis for turn to turn short circuit is analyzed.That it is difficult to identify the location of the fault,the values of fault characteristics are different in different types of normal motors,the diagnosis results are easily affected by the unbalance of the power supply are three kinds of problems to be solved.(2)The finite element model of normal induction motor is established.The basic structure of the motor and the main factors that lead to the interturn short circuit are briefly described.Fault mechanism of interturn short circuit is analyzed and the common characteristics are summarized.Compared with other methods,the phenomenon of unbalanced three-phase current imbalance is less affected,and it is easier to identify the fault phase position and has practical significance to improve the accuracy of diagnosis.(3)Two kinds of diagnosis methods are proposed from the point of view of current and energy.The simulation results show that the two methods can be used to judge whether the fault occurred,the location and degree of the fault when the supply power is balanced.Furthermore,the experimental results show that the interturn short circuit could be detected by changing the load with the supply power unbalanced.(4)The development flow of DSP system,as well as the hardware interface and software implementation method of multiple DSP function modules are studied.The relevant methods to realize the core part of the program is presented together with the whole process of the system.The whole work shows a positive effect on improving the health of the motor and ensuring the reliability of the whole system.
