Linear Explosive Separating System is widely applied in the key components of long-range aerocraft.At present,the separation plate materials mainly for aluminum alloy.Compared to metal materials,composite materials have higher specific strength and specific stiffness.Composite materials production and processing technology more and more mature.But the laminated plate slabs impact response is very different from metal material,tend to cause inter-layer damage and out-layer damage to the composite laminates,fiber fracture,matrix damage,debonding between fiber and matrix,delamination,etc.The damage result in decrease in laminates structural capacity and laminates service life.It poses potential risk to the safety of the structures and little is known about its principle.Research on the shock response of composite laminates has important academic significance and application value,for studying the characteristics of composite laminates high speed impact damage or design new explosion separation device.Based on the material parameters of carbon fiber composite laminates,the material parameters were verified by the composite laminates inter-laminar tensile test and inter-laminar shear test.Thereafter,carbon fiber composite laminates under the explosion of linear shaped charge experiments were conducted.The response results of composite laminates under explosion shock were obtained.On the other hand,the velocity of feature points on the laminates surface was measured by using DISAR.It provides the basis for the numerical simulation.Through ANSYS/LS-DYNA dynamic finite element program,the impact fracture behavior of carbon fiber composite laminates under explosive of linear shaped charge are studied.By using shell element and ‘tiebreak' contact algorithm with layered modeling method,composite laminates under explosion shock finite element model was established.The shell element destruction was simulated for the laminates inter-layer failure.While,the ‘tiebreak' contact algorithm was simulated for the interaction between layers.The numerical simulation result shows the failure process of laminates under the explosion shock.Compare the simulation results and the experimental results,the measurement results of DISAR are consistent with the simulation results.The error is within the acceptable level.The research verified the feasibility of the simulation method.In the last,based on the finite element simulation model and the parameter differentiation,a variety of conditions were designed.The influence of material parameters and structure parameters to the delamination degree of the laminates is conducted.Through further data analysis,an engineering function for evaluate the laminates delamination degree is presented.The statistical simulation results show that the function is reliable.The engineering function can provide reference for composite structure design.
