With the continuous progress of our society,the awareness of environmental protection is also increasing,and reducing the emission of harmful substances in the atmosphere has become an urgent need of people.Vehicle emission is one of the main sources of air pollution in our country,and reducing vehicle emission is also an important key to further emission reduction in our country.At the same time,since January 1,2018,China has started to implement the national five emission regulations and standards,and the more stringent national six emission regulations in 2020 will soon be implemented.Therefore,how to reduce the emission level of harmful emissions from automobiles and meet the increasingly stringent emission regulations has become the key to the survival and development of enterprises.In order to meet the needs of the market and laws and improve the quality and type of our products,Changchun FAW fourth ring engine manufacturing co.,ltd proposed the project " car CA4D30C5 diesel engine meets the national five emission standard" and requires it to have the technical upgrading potential to meet the national six emission standard at the same time.Based on the actual use of the engine,this project chose the national five technical route of combustion optimization and SCR.At the same time,CA4D30C5 diesel engine is a new model to be developed and promoted by our company.In order to better achieve the expected goal of the project,the combustion system needs to be optimized and upgraded.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.The key index parameters of CA4D30C5 engine are introduced,and the influence of two groups of fuel injection groups and four groups of different gasket thicknesses on the key performance of the engine is studied through external characteristics and ESC tests.The fuel injector with 8-hole nozzle and 2.5 mm gasket is selected through comprehensive consideration of specific fuel consumption and smoke density.2.Upgrade and optimize the supercharger,analyze the working principle of VGT,and evaluate the adapter between JK52F1 VGT supercharger and prototype.At the same time,the exhaust model,external characteristics and universal characteristics of the prototype are optimized and calibrated in detail.In addition,the cam profile of the valve train has been further improved,and the fuel consumption,smoke,air intake and harmful emissions of the engine can be improved by testing the A camshaft.3.Introduce the key components,working principle,control and communication of SCR system,calibrate the key control model,complete the system debugging and development,and make the engine meet the requirements of national five emission regulations through test adjustment and test.4.Calibrate the drivability of CA4D30C5 engine and the three highs test,and check the stability and working condition of the fuel system,engine performance and SCR system in extreme environment.After test verification,the performance of each system itself meets the design expectations.In the end,the CA4D30C5 engine is reasonably designed,and the emission results meet the National five emission standards.At the same time,it has the development potential of the National Six.
