Water stability and high temperature are important indicators for evaluating the pavement performance of asphalt mixtures.The high temperature damp heat and salt spray environment in the Beibu Gulf area has an erosive effect on the asphalt mixture pavement,which seriously affects the pavement performance.Trinidad Lake Asphalt(TLA)has a significant effect on asphalt modification and can improve the anti-aging performance of asphalt.high temperature stability and water stability of asphalt mixture.In this paper,the water stability and high temperature of TLA modified asphalt mixture under the condition of chloride salt spray erosion are taken as the research objectives.The test is assisted by salt spray test box,and the test indexes such as asphalt aging,water immersion Marshall test and rutting test are analyzed.The study found that the salt-resistant aging ability of TLA modified asphalt is stronger under the condition of chloride salt spray erosion.With the increase of chloride salt spray concentration and salt erosion time,the freeze-thaw splitting of two asphalt mixtures The intensity of the whole body showed a monotonous decreasing trend.The effect of chloride concentration on the splitting strength was greater than the effect of salting days on the splitting strength.The correlation between the dynamic stability and deformation of the two asphalt mixtures and the salting conditions Above 0.85,it is shown that the dynamic stability and deformation of the asphalt mixture are linearly related to the salt erosion concentration and the salt erosion time.TLA modified asphalt has remarkable effects in resisting salt spray erosion and improving water stability and high temperature of asphalt mixture.TLA modified asphalt mixture has better water stability and high temperature stability.This study provides a reference value for the study of asphalt pavement performance in high temperature and high salt erosion environment in Beibu Gulf area,and provides guidance for asphalt pavement construction and maintenance.
