Aero engine occupies an important position in the aviation industry,and the seal performance,especially the performance of the main bearing cavity oil seal directly affects the improvement of the performance of engine.Contact circumferential seal is the main component of seal design system on aero engines,and is one of the main seal form for the main bearing cavity oil seal system.The sealing property plays a dominant role in fuel consumption rate,thrust-weight ratio,costs,the life of engine and its parts and so on.At present,the design and analysis of contact circumferential seal performance are based on mathematical model,The mathematical model of seal performance analysis and calculation for sealing-heat leakage,friction sealing-heat,convective heat-transfer coefficient and the temperature field calculation have been founded,but the quantitative analysis of distribution and state of circumferential seal stress,strain and the thermal-stress field haven't been founded,so there are the limitation to guide design and analysis of contact circumferential seal.In this article,contact circumferential seal of a certain type aero engine in service was forced analysis complementally,and the analysis and calculation methods of contact load,friction heat,seal condition and follow-up of the seal ring,leakage performance were given.Based on the working principle and structure of contact single circumferential seal device,the UG was utilized to establish the three dimensional entity models and the assembly of main body parts.The parametric design and the secondary development of circumferential seal custom menu were completed.The mechanical load and temperature load were considered comprehensive on the circumferential seal ring,the AN SYS was utilized to complete the structure analysis,steady-thermal analysis and thermal-structure coupling analysis of circumferential seal ring.The stress and strain,temperature-field distribution of circumferential seal were obtained,and the effect of thermal stress on the seal performance was study by the comparative analysis.Based on the above analysis results to optimize the structure of circumferential seal and analyze,after optimizing the stress field distribution had obvious change and stress state had obvious improvement,and provided the background for realizing the improvement of work ability and durability of circumferential seal.Based on VC++,the design and analysis system of the contact circumferential seal was development by the MFC module of Visual studio.It was realized that quantitative calculation of the main seal performance,three-dimensional entity model set up and modify quickly,finite element analysis of the seal performance and view analysis results of circumferential seal,and so on.The system has friendly elegant interface,and is convenient to operate for designer.
