The prefabricated assembly structure has its own unique advantages in terms of reducing energy consumption,saving costs,improving schedule,and reducing pollution.In the bridge engineering,the precast segmental bridge column can meet the seismic demand of the small and medium earthquake intensity zone because of its smaller residual displacement and better selfresetting performance.However,the application of precast segmental bridge columns is limited by the weak energy consumption and insufficient lateral force.In order to solve this problem,this paper establishes precast segmental bridge pier models,studies the influence of different aspect ratio,different connecting devices add between the segments,the shearing force sets at the joint of the segment,and the bottom segment and the cap the connection method on the seismic performance of the precast segmental bridge pier.The specific research work of this paper includes the following aspects:(1)The engineering application,experiment and theory of the precast segmental bridge piers at home and abroad are analyzed,the calculation theory methods and numerical simulation analysis methods of precast segmental bridge piers are summarized,and the main contents of this paper are put forward.(2)In order to study the influence of the aspect ratio on the seismic performance of precast segmental bridge piers,the ABAQUS finite element software is used to model the dry joint precast segmental bridge piers,and three dry joint precast segmental bridge piers with different aspect ratio are established.For the pier model,the aspect ratio of the piers are 4,7,and 10,and the pseudo-static cyclic loading analysis of the pier is carried out.The effect of bridge aspect ratio on structural energy dissipation,bearing capacity and stiffness degradation is studied.It is found that changing the aspect ratio of the piers does not improve the energy consumption of the pier.(3)For the problem of insufficient energy consumption of ordinary dry joint precast segmental bridge piers,a common steel pipe connection device and bolt steel pipe connection device are designed for the ordinary dry joint precast segmental bridge piers.The finite element model of precast segmental bridge piers with connection devices are established by ABAQUS finite element software.Comparing the influence of different connection devices on the seismic performance of dry joint precast segmental bridge piers.Studies have shown that the joints of steel pipes or bolted steel pipes can improve the energy consumption capacity and lateral force of the dry joint precast segmental bridge piers.(4)The shear keys are added at the joint of the sections of the precast segmental bridge piers,and the effect of the height of the shear keys,the number of shear keys,the total area of the shear keys,the arrangement of the shear keys,the arrangement of the shear keys and the shape of the shear keys on the seismic performance of the precast segmental bridge piers are studied.Combined with the quasistatic analysis results,a reasonable shear keys bond layout is obtained.(5)Aiming at the serious damage of the bottom section of the precast segmental bridge piers,the connection between the bottom of precast segmental bridge pier and the cap is studied.The effect of dry joints,partial castinplace,steel pipe connections and shearing keys on the seismic performance of the precast segmental bridge piers are studied.
