With the local revision of the Code for Seismic Design of Construction,some existing buildings in some areas don’t meet the seismic requirements,so it is necessary to strengthen them.Traditional reinforcement methods have many drawbacks,and energy dissipation technology in recent years has shown good performance in the application of research.The seismic reduction effect is remarkable,especially in new buildings and post-earthquake buildings in the reinforcement of the application form and scope of wider.In recent decades,domestic and foreign scholars have conducted extensive research on various types of energy dissipation dampers.The theoretical analysis and experimental results from them are of great significance to the practical application of energy dissipation dampers.The code for seismic design of buildings(GB 50011-2010)in China also contains the related contents of energy dissipation and shock absorption.Displacement metal dampers and friction dampers are also included in the code.At present,metal dampers and friction dampers have been used in the structure,but the detailed analysis of their reinforcement effect in the existing building structure is rare,so it is necessary to carry out further research.In this context,based on the existing research results of energy dissipation and seismic strengthening,the following aspects of work are carried out:(1)The damping principle and restoring force model of metal dampers and friction dampers were analyzed and introduced,and the structural analysis method was briefly introduced.(2)Using the finite element analysis software SAP2000,a three-dimensional model was established and validated by taking the logistics service center of an eight-storey organization as an example.The natural vibration characteristics of the structure were obtained by modal analysis,and the time history analysis of the original structure under the action of multiple earthquakes and rare earthquakes was carried out by selecting suitable seismic waves,and then determined the goal of shock absorption reinforcement.(3)The existing building structures were strengthened by adding metal dampers,and the time-history analysis of the strengthened model under frequent and rare earthquakes was carried out.The displacement angle between stories and the base shear force were compared with the original structure.And in the elastic-plastic time history analysis,the plastic hinge state of the structure is statistically analyzed.The results show that the addition of metal dampers can effectively increase the seismic performance of the structure,so that it can meet the limit requirements of the story displacement angle in the seismic code.The plastic deformation degree of plastic hinge decreases and the number of plastic hinge decreases.(4)The existing building structures were strengthened by adding friction dampers,and the time-history analysis of the strengthened model under the action of frequent and rare seismic waves was carried out.The variation of parameters such as displacement Angle base shear after reinforcement was compared.And in the elastic-plastic time history analysis,the plastic hinge state of the structure is statistically analyzed The results show that the addition of friction dampers can effectively increase the seismic performance of the structure,so that it can meet the limit requirements of the story displacement angle in the seismic code.The yield state of plastic hinge decreases and the number of plastic hinge decreases.(5)According to the results of time history analysis,the maximum damping ratio of the displacement Angle between layers of the structure with friction damper and the maximum damping ratio of the base shear force and the yield state and number of plastic hinge under the elastic-plastic state are better than those with metal damper.Compared with the results,it can be seen that the strengthening effect of friction damper is better.
