Electronic warfare,as an effective countermeasure in modern warfare,is attracting more and more attention all over the world.Cognitive electronic warfare introduces the concept of cognition into the electronic warfare system,which makes the electronic warfare have the capability of closed-loop operation.It can design the optimal jamming waveform in real time by analyzing the environment and the electronic warfare system,which greatly improves the performance of the electronic warfare system.Many experts believe that the future electronic warfare will develop into cognitive electronic warfare,but there is no consensus on the basic connotation and workflow of cognitive electronic warfare.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the paper combs the current situation of the traditional electronic warfare,and summarizes the problems that need to be solved by the electronic warfare through the concept of the electronic warfare and the operational requirements.Based on the research results of cognitive radio and cognitive radar in concept and work flow,this paper studies the connotation of cognitive electronic warfare by combining the cognitive dynamic system and OODA ring theory,and puts forward the structure of cognitive electronic warfare system.From the point of view of military application,it analyzes the technical advantages of cognitive electronic warfare in the aspects of division of labor,operational function and operational style,and briefly introduces the key technologies to realize cognitive electronic warfare.Secondly,the paper studies the theory of cognitive jamming waveform design,establishes the target,clutter and jamming model needed for cognitive waveform optimization,and analyzes the detection performance of radar to deterministic signal and random signal.Aiming at the various kinds of jamming effect evaluation criteria,it analyzes the differences and connections of multiple criteria,which lays a foundation for the selection of cognitive jamming waveform design criteria.Finally,in order to solve the problem of jamming radar detection in electronic warfare system,Fill-CFAR method is proposed to optimize the intermission sampling jamming waveform.On the basis of CFAR detection threshold,signal-to-noise ratio criterion and mutual information criterion,the reinforcement learning methods such as SARSA and QLearning are selected to optimize the waveform by optimizing sampling and forwarding time,frequency shift and so on.The influence of interference power,evaluation criterion and reinforcement learning algorithm on waveform design is analyzed by simulation.Compared with intermittent sampling jamming waveform with fixed sampling and forwarding time,the interference effect of this method is better and more practical.The research content of this paper has a certain guiding role on the design of the jamming waveform in cognitive electronic warfare.Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show the feasibility of using the Fill-CFAR method to design the waveform.The research in this paper is not limited to the concept of the top level of cognitive electronic warfare.The realization of cognitive jamming waveform design has certain practical significance for the research of cognitive electronic warfare technology.
