The advantage of UAV in modern warfare is obvious.It has been increasingly applied to execute the dangerous and complex tasks.The UAV used for early warning detection carries a radar.It aims at providing powerful coverage to the designated areas.The route planning of multi-UAV cooperative coverage aims at establishing a space path that can fly,continuously make the UAV fly from its current position to the next feasible position,and keep a better coverage rate to the warning area.For the problem of multi-UAV path planning for early warning detection,this paper proposes two effective route planning methods.One is based on artificial bee colony algorithm,and the other is based on particle swarm optimization algorithm.First of all,the two basic algorithms are based on the principle of maximizing coverage rate,giving a picture of the smooth track and its associated data when the UAVs are cooperatively executing tasks.Then,in order to solve the problem of large turn angle and out-of-bounds,we put forward relevant improvement methods.Finally,the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.The main content of this paper is as follows:1.Establishment of UAV route planning model and description of key issues.Firstly,the UAV maneuvering performance constraints are analyzed.Only the turning constraint of UAV is considered here.Then the UAV movement model and the radar detection power model are given.Finally,the objective function of the route planning problem and the route smoothing method are established.2.The research of UAV route planning method for cooperative coverage based on artificial bee colony algorithm.Firstly,the limitation of the current UAV route planning method is analyzed,and it is pointed out that it could not be applied to the UAV route planning for cooperative coverage.Then,aiming at this problem,a UAV route planning method for cooperative coverage based on artificial bee colony algorithm is proposed,and this method gives the optimal smooth path for the UAVs.Then,an improvement method is proposed to overcome the problem of out-of-bounds and the large turn angle.After that,in order to solve the problems followed by the introduction of turning penalty,the improvement method is proposed one after another.Finally,the simulation experiment proves the effectiveness of the proposed route planning method.3.The research of UAV route planning method for cooperative coverage based on particle swarm optimization algorithm.Firstly,the disadvantages of the UAV route planning method for cooperative coverage based on artificial bee colony algorithm are analyzed.That is,its comprehensive performance is not good.Then,aiming at this problem,a UAV route planning method for cooperative coverage based on particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed.And the improvement method is proposed to improve the deficiency of basic method.Finally,simulation experiments show that the proposed route planning method can effectively improve the comprehensive performance of cooperative coverage of UAVs.
