As the core component of rotating machinery,rotor directly affect the safe operation of rotating machinery.Once a failure occurs,it will cause huge economic loss,even casualties.So research on early rotor fault diagnosis is of great significance for ensuring the safe operation of rotating machinery.The failure of rotor is usually reflected by vibration,and the vibration signal contains abundant fault information.Through the fault feature extraction of vibration signals,the fault diagnosis of the rotor can be realized.Differential oscillator is often used in fault diagnosis of a weak signal,but because rotor early fault signal is weak,and it is easily disturbed by on-site noise,low signal-to-noise ratio,difficult signal extraction,As a result,the fault identification is inaccurate.This dissertation takes the rotating machinery rotor as the research object,proposes the EMD preprocessing of the signal before the differential oscillator diagnosis,improves the signal to noise ratio of the original signal,and enhances the diagnostic ability of the differential oscillator.Firstly,the article describes the necessity and importance of early fault diagnosis for rotating machinery rotors,and describes the research status of fault diagnosis technology at home and abroad.Secondly,the article introduces common fault mechanisms,failure modes,and general methods of early rotor fault diagnosis.Through examples,the effectiveness of the three methods of axial trajectory,holographic spectrum,and differential vibrator for early fault diagnosis is compared and analyzed.The results show the effectiveness of differential vibrators is better.In this paper,the mathematical model and basic principle of the differential oscillator are combined to further discuss the parameter settings of the differential oscillator.Based on the traditional differential oscillator method,the early fault diagnosis of the differential oscillator based on EMD preprocessing is proposed.The EMD preprocessing is performed on the original raw signal before diagnosis of the differential oscillator to improve the identification ability of the differential oscillator and verify the experiment.It got a good result.In the last part,LabVIEW is used as the development platform to design and develop an early fault diagnosis system for rotating machinery rotors.The system is used to diagnose the early rotor misalignment faults simulated by the experimental platform.Good results have been obtained and the effectiveness of the system has been verified.
