Fused Deposition Modeling(FDM)technology is the most widely used rapid prototyping manufacturing technology,but the poor dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties of the parts are the important factors restricting its further development.On the basis of theoretical analysis,this paper finds out the influencing factors that restrict the quality of parts,and carries out experimental research from different angles.Firstly,the technical principle,technological process,technological characteristics and forming materials of FDM melt deposition forming are described in detail.Then,the principle error of data processing in the early stage,the technological error in the forming process and the formation mechanism of post-processing error are analyzed,and the main influencing factors are found,and the corresponding solutions are put forward,which provide the theoretical basis and guiding basis for the subsequent optimization of the forming process parameters.Through the analysis of the causes of stepped errors,it is found that the main process parameters causing stepped errors are the thickness of layers and the angle of forming.Based on these two parameters.the surface roughness of formed parts is studied through experiments.It is found that there are differences between the theoretical distribution curve and the actual distribution curve,and the possible influencing factors are discussed.Element analysis.PLA is selected as fuse material.Firstly,the technological parameters affecting the printing quality of FDM are analyzed.Then four main technological parameters,namely layer thickness,wall thickness,printing speed and printing temperature,are adjusted by slice processing software.Using range analysis method in multi-index orthogonal experimental design,the consumption and size of consumables are studied.The optimal combination of parameters for 3D printing is obtained by the influence law of two test indexes of accuracy.Finally,the forming time,tensile strength,elongation at break and modulus of elasticity of the formed parts are taken as the test indicators to characterize the mechanical properties of the parts.The orthogonal experiments are carried out by selecting the printing layer thickness,placing method and forming angle as the influencing factors,and the range analysis method is used to study the process parameters on the parts.The optimum combination of parameters is obtained by the influence law.At the same time,the relevant experimental results are analyzed theoretically.
