With the rapid development of space technology,more and more deep space exploration plans are put on the agenda.As the pace of deep space exploration continues to accelerate,the scene of deep space exploration will become more and more complex,and the business and services will become more and more diverse.Future deep space exploration will face many technical challenges,one of which is deep space network protocol.This paper studies ICN coverage network for deep space exploration,aiming to propose a protocol solution for future deep space exploration network,which provides certain reference for deep space exploration network protocol research and network construction.Firstly,the scenario architecture of deep space exploration is described in detail.On this basis,the characteristics and business requirements of deep space exploration scenarios are sorted out.The characteristics and functions of protocol system for deep space exploration network are summarized.In this paper,the DTN(Delay Tolerant Networking)and ICN protocol stacks are introduced.The advantages and disadvantages of these two protocol stacks in the face of deep space exploration scenario characteristics and business requirements are mainly analyzed.This paper proposes a new network architecture:ICN overlay network,whose core protocol is ICN over DTN.This paper describes in detail how ICN coverage network can be applied to future deep space exploration scenarios,including planetary surface network,deep space network and ground network.At the same time,the design details of ICN over DTN for deep space exploration characteristics are described,including service priority,security,link interruption solution,etc.Focused on the communication entities in future deep space exploration scenarios,such as relay satellites and planetary surface detectors,this paper designs and implements ICN embedded simulation nodes and DTN embedded simulation nodes,which are used to simulate planetary surface detectors and relay satellites respectively.Through these simulation nodes and traditional PC,the testing environment of ICN coverage network is constructed.Through these embedded and PC nodes,the real ICN overlay network architecture is run to generate real data streams,which makes the experimental data relatively reliable.Finally,experimental platform are designed based on these simulation nodes,and protocol tests are carried out under different transmission conditions to analyze the performance of ICN coverage architecture.The availability of ICN coverage network in deep space exploration scenarios is illustrated,and its performance is equivalent to that of DTN and ICN.
