Since the reform and opening up,our country has started a large-scale new area construction to promote the development of the big cities,solve the problems of the population congestion and the shortage of land resources in the old city.Most of these new areas have become the core of the culture,economy,politics and Commerce in the city.However,in the construction of the new area,the regional planning mostly considers the construction of the motor vehicle scale,but neglects the most basic pedestrian.Space,urban Island,block division,and high level of road level have caused pedestrians’ walking safety to be disturbed,and the walking path is also hindered.Because of poor slow experience,pedestrians are more and more dependent on private car travel,the competitiveness of public transportation is reduced,urban congestion and pollution are aggravated,thus entering a new vicious circle.This paper,taking the slow line system in the central area of China’s big cities as the research subject,analyzes the interaction between the urban spatial form and the traffic change by tracing the development of the slow line system and the chronic space in the city,and analyses the slow psychology,behavior and characteristic orientation of pedestrians,in order to carry out the basic scale standard of the system from the human scale.In the analogy analysis of actual cases,by absorbing the quantitative analysis experience of predecessors and cross disciplines,the evaluation system of slow line system is divided into four dimensions of slow line security,slow accessibility,slow line efficiency and slow travel comfort,and the selected cases are evaluated by the three types of indicators of land development factors,social economic factors and road network factors.Finally,the results of analogy evaluation and the analysis system of architecture are used to evaluate the slow line system of the most typical urban central business district of Shanghai,Lujiazui,China.The purpose of this thesis is to explore a sustainable development mode of the slow traffic system,and to provide some suggestions for the city development.
