Rise of energy utilization,restricted resources of petroleum,climate problems and global challenges needs more advance methods for the use of biomass in most better ways.Microwave pyrolysis is a modern technology to produce a good quality biochar.Gives best products,utilization and most important,process is environment friendly.In Microwave,radiation use for pyrolysis and process is:fast,specific heat area.But in conventional pyrolysis heat cannot be controlled for specific area.Microwave pyrolysis depends on the parameters:temperature,reaction time,microwave power,feedstock type and Microwave Absorbers?MWAs?.This paper used two shells and prepared several biochar's and analyze their characteristics and use then to absorb metals.The feedstock pretreatment is done at different temperatures?150,180,200,250,300°C?and the constant time of 2 hours.A series of experiments have been conducted to study the effects of different carbonization temperatures?400,600,800°C?and different absorbent SiC and Activated carbon characteristics of porosity in carbonized coconut shell,walnut shell char and activated carbon derived from carbonized coconut shell and walnut shells with different activation times?30,50,90 and 120 min?at activation temperature of 600°C using physical activation?CO2 activation?.The results showed that high temperature carbonized coconut shell char and activated carbon samples derived from high temperature carbonized coconut shell chars had higher BET surface area,yield as compared to those of low temperature carbonized coconut shell char and activated carbon derived from low temperature carbonized coconut shell char.After carbonization activation is done on different conditions.Activation temperature600°C,peroxidation time:l h,activation time 50 min,heating rate 10°C/min.It was found that the specific surface area of coconut shell and walnut shell in the optional conditions achieved 1325 m2/g and 1012 m2/g,respectively.Activated biochar used to absorb the Cd metal from the aqueous.The influence initial concentration of absorbents were investigated in the study,the results showed that CP Coconut to Cd removal rate of more than 96.1%and the adsorption quantity is 26.70 mg/g.CP walnut to Cd removal rate is above 92.5%and the adsorption quantity is 25.98 mg/g.Activated Coconut to Cd removal rate is above 96.6%and the adsorption quantity is 29.73mg/g.Activated walnut to Cd removal rate is above 95.2%and the adsorption quantity is27.40 mg/g.In conclusion,the coconut activated biochar has better performance than the walnut activated biochar.
