In January 2011,the Chinese Academy of Sciences launched the first five strategic pilot projects,of which the nuclear energy system project for thorium-based Molten Salt Reactor(TMSR)is based on the implementation of Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics,aiming to develop the fourth generation Reactor nuclear energy system through more than 20 years of research and development.In 2012,TMSR developed a low-flow high-temperature molten salt pump,named the prototype of molten salt pump.The successful development of molten salt pump requires a lot of operation test and engineering verifications.Therefore,the construction of molten salt pump experiment platform is an essential stage in the development of molten salt pump.The purpose of molten salt pump experiment circuit is to provide a high temperature molten salt experiment platform for molten salt pump and its prototype.The database is an indispensable part of the experiment platform of molten salt pump,and it is an important guarantee for the type test and appraisal test with the platform of molten salt pump.In this paper,a database management system for TMSR molten salt pump experiment platform is established to complete the effective storage and standardized management of all kinds of data generated during the design,construction and operation of the molten salt pump experiment platform using computer and network.Firstly,the development history,current situation and trend of nuclear power database management platform technology is investigated and analyzed to elaborate the research background of TMSR molten salt pump experiment platform database management system.Then the significance of database management system for TMSR molten salt pump experiment platform is discussed.The key technologies such as architecture,database technology,front-end framework and data visualization technology are studied and analyzed,including the selection of key technologies.According to the practical background of the fourth generation thorium-based molten salt reactor nuclear energy project,the database management system of molten salt pump experiment platform is analyzed and designed,and the system architecture is constructed.The database management system of TMSR molten salt pump experiment platform was designed and developed including various functional modules.Finally,this database management system was tested and verified using all the devices information and their real data,and the results showed the feasibility of the system data model design.
