Microgrid,as one of the effective ways to utilize renewable energy,such as solar energy and wind energy,can alleviate the energy crisis and environmental pressure.The attention of governments and research institutions around the world has been attracted by Microgrid.By optimizing the distribution of the output power of micro power sources,the power generation economy of the microgrid is improved,and the environmental pollution caused by the power generation is reduced.Therefore,there is extremely important practical significance to study the energy management problem of Microgrid.Different from the large grid,the introduction of solar power generation and wind power generation and energy storage devices in microgrid increased the complexity of energy management issues.For the problem that existing energy management strategies of Microgrid can not consider the generation economy and real-time performance simultaneously,A microgrid optimal energy management strategy based on the quadric optimal control theory is proposed.Firstly,the charging and discharging characteristics of the energy storage battery are analyzed,and the dynamic mathematical model of the energy storage battery is established,and the system state equation required for the application of the quadric optimal control theory is obtained.Then,a performance index of the extended quadric optimal control theory is designed to satisfy the load demand and limit storage battery residual capacity(also known as State of charge,SOC).Through theoretical derivation,the optimal control law of the extended quadric optimal control theory is obtained.And according to the properties of Riccati's equations,with the average value of the micro grid load power changing slowly,the approximate optimal control law is got,which is easy to implement.The approximate optimal control law is the form of state feedback,which is only related to the current state of the system.Therefore,the energy management strategy proposed in this paper can be used to solve the problem power allocation in real-time.Finally,a microgrid simulation model is built in Matlab/Simlink to verify efficiency of microgrid optimal energy management strategy based on the quadric optimal control theory we proposed.A large number of simulation examples show that optimization effect of optimal energy management strategy based on the quadric optimal control theory is close to that of optimal energy management strategy based on Pontryagin's minimum principle.And when the initial value of energy storage battery SOC changes,it still has strong robustness.
