When the aero-engine is working,it will produce excessive vibration and shock excitation. The excitation can be transferred to the aircraft's structure and equipment which cause damage on the structure and equipment. These excitation may even threaten the safety of aircraft. Therefore,it is necessary to take some measures for isolating the vibration and impact load from the aero-engine which include the main way that is adding a vibration isolation device. The CAE simulation analysis is required for the vibration isolation device that is in the vibration and shock environment for a long time, and then study the influence of relative parameters on vibration and impact performance of vibration isolation device for improving the design of vibration isolation device. In this paper, the dynamic response of the auxiliary damping strut with damping rubber was studied in the given boundary condition and the assembly contact relation based on the dynamic theory and ANSYS Workbench. The mechanical properties and vibration damping principle of rubber were studied.Meanwhile, the natural characteristics of the auxiliary damping strut which includes natural mode and frequency-response function of system were calculated. The stress response of the auxiliary damping strut under random vibration load was analyzed based on the natural characteristics of the system.Based on frequency response and random vibration stress of the auxiliary damping strut, the vibration fatigue life of critical metal parts was predicted. Finally, the impact response of auxiliary damping strut was calculated by modal superposition method.Through the dynamics analysis, the influence of rubber parameters and inaccuracy of pre-load on the dynamic response and vibration durability of auxiliary damping strut are obtained which provides a reference for future research and development of auxiliary damping strut.
