Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing air duct Temperature & Load Testbeds,such as low heat transfer efficiency,large energy consumption and large temperature difference between the front and rear of the canopy,this paper design a new type Temperature and Load Testbed,which use the parallel jets superposition as heating and cooling method,and do research on simulation and control of a canopy Temperature and Load Testbed.The new type Temperature and Load Testbed obtain high temperature by electric heater and obtain low temperature by the cooling turbine,and the high and cold temperature air are spayed to the surface of canopy through the well designed pipe network.Firstly,do the steady state and instantaneous heat transfer analysis of the canopy and inside the canopy,calculate the result including the heating power of electric heater is 220 kW,the cooling power of turbine is 28.9kW,the heating power of canbin temperature controller is 4549 W and cooling power is 2875 W.And propose a detailed control strategy.Secondly,according to the requirements of test system’s data acquisition and control,this paper use LabVIEW software to design a data acquisition and control system with measurement accuracy of 0.25 and the control cycle of 0.05 s based on the NI PXIe hardware,and analysis the temperature,pressure and flow sensor.Finally,a semi-physical simulation of the whole test rig was carried out.In the semi-physical simulation,this paper build the models of the various components in the system including the control valve,the heater,the turbine,the regenerator,mixing tanks,piping and parallel jet heat transfer part and so on.The results of the semi-physical simulation show that the power of each component in the whole system is correctly calculated and most of the control strategies are correct.A small part is corrected through semi-physical simulation.Through the semi-physical simulation of the system,this paper verified correctness of the power of each component of the system.At the same time,the system control can be preliminarily checked,and the working status of the heater,the turbine cooler and the control valve can be predicted when the test system is operating.
