Since the overall performance calculation of aero engine is one of the key tasks in the development of the engine,the purpose is to enable designers to better optimize the component or performance parameters.With the improvement of computer simulation technology and the combination of propulsion technology and information transmission technology,advanced performance simulation has become the trend of overall performance research.The idea urges the engine designer to jump out of the concept stage,and develop from the traditional model depended on experience to the mixed dimension simulation model.Which allows designers to study the influence of the flow field on the overall performance of the component through the CFD calculation.In the view of the overall design,research on overall performance of turbofan based on 0D/2D coupling calculation is proposed.First the simulation tool based on 0D model T-MATS is introduced,and a turbofan engine is taken as an example to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the platform.Second,a fan and low-pressure turbine components which used as a 2D model of a turbofan engine were preliminarily designed using a turbo-machinery design method based on the S1 flow surface.Then,the paper briefly introduce the 2D simulation tool: the calculation program and calculation method based on the circumferentially average Navier-Stokes equation through flow theory.Finally,coupling the computing models together of the two different dimensions to iterate until the correct working point is established,which realize the application of 0D/2D coupling calculation in the turbofan engine.
