With the acceleration of economic globalization and the process of world economic integration,the sustained and rapid development of China's economy,the remarkable enhancement of the comprehensive national strength and international influence,and the policy of the Chinese government to take the same view of the domestic and foreign enterprises,promote the reform in the field of foreign investment and provide the convenience for foreign investment.With the increasing degree of industrialization,the superiority of China's investment environment is still very prominent,and it must become one of the preferred investment destinations for foreign enterprises.With the increasing number of foreign investment projects and larger scale,the management level of the construction project has been improved despite the development of China's reform and opening in the past 40 years.However,there are still many problems in the management system compared with foreign advanced management theory and practice experience which limited the space for the development of engineering project management.How to combine China's national conditions and foreign scientific advanced management model to find a construction management model suitable for China has become a barrier to the construction and optimization of the construction industry in China.Lean construction is an extension of the application of the famous Japanese lean production theory to the construction industry,and it is also a supplement and improvement of the lean production concept in different industries.As a perfect functional engineering construction management system,the application of lean construction makes the project management process easier to operate,more secure,the construction quality progress is more guaranteed,and the construction cost relative to the traditional management method is also cheaper.Lean construction management runs through the whole life cycle of the construction project from the decision stage to the delivery.The goal management of the whole process is clear,especially in the following aspects: creating value,eliminating waste;planning and coordinating each other;site organization.The lean construction value stream mapping(VSM),the visual management(VM),the last planning system(LPS),the just in time concept(JIT),the 5S,and the supply chain management have fully shown the improvement effect that is different from the traditional engineering management model,and encourages all the people to participate in the quality management and pull the construction management.The model,unswervingly promoting advanced ideas to seek innovative and creative solutions / alternatives,ensures a sustainable and better management technology for engineering construction activities.This article mainly introduces the LL Project Manage Company to apply the advanced theory of lean construction to the project management project in China,taking the application of the utility tunnel construction in the R investment project as an example,aiming at the common problems in the engineering management,and analysing the final demand and management difficulties of the customers.This paper enumerates the uncertain factors from the different participants of the project,uses the parallel design,construction,and the application of the BIM building model to use the integrated management platform of supply chain information for the project procurement,cost,quality,file archiving and so on,as far as possible to reduce the fluctuation in the project management process and eliminate everything as much as possible.All kinds of waste to save cost at different project stages and improve the performance management of construction projects which have reached the goal for optimize the customer investment value.Through the analysis and calculation of the steel bar supply chain cost model of R utility tunnel based on time driven activity,the sensitive factor source of the key activities is determined through the calculation of each activity associated with steel bar purchase costing,which provides a theoretical reference for the supply chain procurement cost control of other materials in the construction industry.Through the application of lean management concept,the existing project management mode and structure are optimized,and the cost,benefit,quality,schedule(social,economic,environmental)and other factors of construction engineering are balanced,which provides relevant reference basis for the application and popularization of lean construction theory in China.
