| The continuous growth of traffic volume in our country has caused the pavement of asphalt pavement in the process of using early rutting,cracks,pit,and other diseases.These diseases seriously affect the performance and service life of asphalt pavement.The existing research shows that one of the main reasons that causes asphalt pavement the early diseases is the aging of asphal,namely the process of asphalt pavement in service,by outside conditions: environmental factors such as heat,oxygen,light and water will act on the asphalt,asphalt hot oxygen aging and optical oxygen aging will occur.Thus,adopting the suitable aging resistant modifier to improve the aging resistance of asphalt,to prolong the service life of the asphalt surface is of great importance.To solve the above problems,this paper adopts the montmorillonite clay as a new type of modifier,and studies on the indoor test of the modified asphalt.Firstly,in the test,we use octadecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride,cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide on the base of sodium montmorillonite organic modification for the preparation of organic montmorillonite.Using the method of melt intercalation,then the organic nano-clay asphalt binder is prepared.And we did the regular physical test to asphalt binder before and after the modification with nano clay,compared the change of penetration ductility,softening point,viscosity of the modified asphalt.and did rotating thin film aging test to the modified asphalt binder which mixed with different doses of organic montmorillonite.By comparing the physical indexes of modifiedasphalt,we determined The dosage of modifier when the modified asphalt which Added the organic clay has the best anti-aging performance.Secondly,through the X-ray diffraction experiment to nano clay modified asphalt,characterized the microstructure of modified asphalt.Summarized the different structure which asphalt and montmorillonite formed before and after the organic modification.Highlight the advantages of organic montmorillonite modified asphalt.Then,According to the characteristics of the OMMT anti-aging function,this paper mainly choose the raw materials for Nano clay modified asphalt mixture mix proportion design.To test and analyze the various technical indexes of raw materials,and select the raw materials to meet the requirements of the specifications.In this paper,based on the marshall test and gyratory compaction test these two kinds of molding methods to determine the optimal asphalt aggregate ratio,did road performance test for the asphalt mixture which modified with nano clay,the contrast tests including high temperature,low temperature and water stability test.Finally,come to the conclusion that the asphalt mixture which modified by organic montmorillonite is better than the matrix asphalt mixturein in the aspects of anti ageing and road performance.It shows that nano montmorillonite has great application value in practical engineering. |
