With the continuous development of digital technology and software radio,Multi-system aperture resource sharing and function integration are the trend of avionics development.Using the Secondary Surveillance Radar to integrate ADS-B IN function makes the ATC monitoring system effectively guarantee reasonable,transparent sharing of various information input such as surveillance,flight plan and aviation intelligence,smooth and cooperative information,fully implement intelligent decision-making,and provide complete and consistent information support for the new ATC operation method based on trajectory and performance of aircraft.This paper takes ADS-B IN and SSR integrated design based on digital multi-beam as the research background,relying on a secondary surveillance radar subsystem of the national key model project developed by Jiuzhou Company as the implementation platform and realizing the integrated design of ADS-B reception in Digital Phased Array Secondary Surveillance Radar equipment without increasing hardware resources.This paper mainly introduces the following work:(1)Theoretical accumulation: Studying theoretical documents and relevant standards such as Secondary Surveillance Radar,digital beamforming,ADS-B IN system and track fusion algorithm,combining with practical engineering design experience,the basic design idea of ADS-B IN integrated Secondary Surveillance Radar system based on digital multi-beam is preliminarily formed,laying a foundation for subsequent design work;(2)System requirements analysis: The function,performance,equipment and testing requirements of ADS-B in integrated Secondary Surveillance Radar system are described,and the implementation scheme of ADS-B in integrated Secondary Surveillance Radar is proposed.(3)System design: The ADS-B IN integrated system design based on digital multi-beam is completed,including system architecture design,system workflow design,system index demonstration,digital multi-beam forming design and simulation,antenna self-calibration design and so on,which overcomes the key technical problems in system design.(4)System realization: The detailed design and engineering prototype realization of ADS-B integrated Secondary Surveillance Radar equipment were completed,and the hardware and software design and working principle of the main components of the equipment were introduced respectively.(5)Testing and verification: Conducting relevant testing,testing and verification of equipment,which is divided into three stages: laboratory testing,antenna testing and system testing,respectively verifying the functional performance,antenna pattern and system application effect of the engineering prototype,and the test results show that the engineering prototype meets the system index requirements.
