With the global energy crisis increased,and the impact of electricity market reform,energy saving in thermal power and optimal load dispatch in power generation group has been the problems that thermal power industry needs to solve today.If the power group want to improve their competitive strength,they need to reduce their cost of electricity and to optimize the load of themselves.This paper with the task of energy consumption characteristics and optimal load dispatch in thermal power unit,has its own research objects which are coal-fired unit and gas-steam combined cycle unit.This paper aiming at various models and various fuels,mainly takes its research on the influencing factors in energy consumption indicators and optimal load dispatch among units.This paper simply introduced the calculation of energy consumption indicators based on thermodynamics both in coal-fired units and gas-steam combined cycle units and built the calculation model of energy consumption indicators in units.Moreover,it tried to fit energy consumption curve based on the calculation model,which is hard to suffice the project requirements.This paper took the way of Least Squares Support Vector Machine(LS-SVM)to build the model of coal-fired units and gas-steam combined cycle units based on data regression.And it took the Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)to optimize the model structure parameters.Before the modeling,the learning samples were clustered using the self-organizing feature map network.The error of the sample of the established LSSVM model is less than 1%,and the difference between the forecast trend and the actual operation is very little.In coal-fired unit,this paper taking the use of K-means clustering,proposed the concept of unit operating conditions.It fit the characteristics and energy consumption of the unit load curve based on different load condition reference value.In gas-steam combined cycle unit,this paper separately models gas turbines,waste heat boilers and steam turbines.And it integrates models organically through input and output parameters of the model.Model accuracy and error meet the engineering requirements.According to the curve fitted,this paper used genetic algorithm to optimize the load distribution of the units under different objective functions.The results show that coal consumption can be reduced by up to 0.5g/(kW·h)under the objective of optimizing the coal consumption based on the average power supply of the unit;that the power supply cost can be reduced by up to 2.3 points/(kW·h)when the average fuel cost based on the average power supply of the unit is optimal;that online profits can be increased by up to 0.3 points/(kW·h)when the average online profits of the crew are optimal.The optimized load distribution has achieved good results.And it has a certain reference value,and provides a certain direction for the optimal operation of the unit.
