With the rapid development of economy in our country, the rapid increase of private car ownership brings urban traffic congestion, environmental pollution and energy shortage problem, which has affected the development of the city.At present some cities have began to build rail transit in order to solve the problem of urban traffic congestion. When the rail transit providing people with convenient and comfortable environment,it affects the ground conventional public traffic simultaneously. When the urban rail transit begin operate,it will break the existing public transport supply and demand balance. In terms of the conventional public traffic, how to transform positioning and how to optimize adjustment have been the new task faced by the public transportation enterprises. This article mainly analyzes the research status quo on the connection between Ground Conventional Public Traffic and Urban Rail Transit at home and abroad, and analyze the factors affecting the allocation of the capacity of conventional bus and rail transit lines. We should establish line network optimization model with the goal of minimizing public transport enterprise operating costs and the passengers waiting time.Take Ningbo rail transit line 2 as an example,we study how ground public transportation allocates public transport resources rationally by using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, and optimize the regular public transit network on the ground according to actual to promote the integrated development of Ningbo’s regular public transport and rail transit, and improve the sharing rate of urban public transport travel.
