The civilian helicopter is widely used and there are many accidents.It has become a new trend to use the latest science and technology to ensure the flight safety of helicopters.That how to use the global helicopter flight fault data efficiently and apply to the research of helicopter flight safety,has become an urgent problem to be solved.This paper first introduces the current distribution of the global civil helicopter market and the general situation of the development of the civil helicopters in China,statistically analyzes the data of the global civil helicopter flight accident investigation reports.Based on the available data,this paper makes a statistical analysis of helicopter flight accidents,and draws a very meaningful conclusion in accordance with the cause of the accident,accident stage,accident type and accident order.Secondly,the helicopter flight status and index are studied and analyzed,and the common faults of the seven subsystems of the helicopter are studied,which are the hydraulic servo system,the main rotor system,the tail rotor system,the instrument display system,the communication navigation system,the fuel system and the landing gear system.The causes of helicopter flight accidents caused by common failures are analyzed statistically.Then the performance requirements and functional requirements of the helicopter flight fault database are analyzed,and then the development platform,database technology,logic layer scheme and physical layer scheme are designed.Finally,the overall framework of the helicopter flight fault database is realized,and the data are introduced,and the access and maintenance work of the flight fault database system is analyzed and studied.At the end of this paper simulation analysis of several typical accidents is conducted,such as fuel consumption,two engine shut down,tail rotor failure,hydraulic system failure,the main rotor faults,faults of servo system and air hanging power lines.Then,based on the Simulink,a simulation model of helicopter has been set up and verifies the accuracy,including the control system,the body model,the main rotor model and tail rotor model and transmission model.Next,six typical flight accidents and fault mechanism are analyzed in turn.Finally,the principle of fault injection for typical flight accidents has been set up and the results are analyzed in depth.And the feasible safety suggestions are put forward.
